DetailsMary Smith was sworn in as President of the American Bar Association in August of 2023, becoming the first Native American woman to serve in this role. She will speak about her career path, advice to students, and some of the initiatives that she is spearheading at the ABA such as the Task Force for American Democracy and the Task Force for Law and Artificial Intelligence. The conversation will be concluded with a Q & A session.
