| Details | Please join WLS for their final Symposium event on the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on various areas of the law. We will be joined by Judge Victoria Kennison and , as they discuss the impacts they have seen on the Illinois court system. Judge Kennison was appointed as Associate Judge of the 12th Judicial Circuit in 2011. She has concentrated on in the areas of domestic violence, but has previously worked in the Criminal Misdemeanor Division as well as the “problem-solving courts” such as veterans court, mental health court, drug court, and adult redeploy court. Ameena Syed is an Associate at Katz & Stefani, a family law firm in Chicago. She clerked for the Honorable Mark Lopez in the Circuit Court of Cook County’s Domestic Relations Division prior to being admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2019. Through her work at Katz, Syed focuses mainly on dissolutions of marriage.
